The Bible isn't one book. It's a library that includes law, history, wisdom, prophecy, the gospels, epistles, and apocalyptic literature. Each genre has a different purpose, audience, and way of being read. When you understand the book itself, the passages that used to feel irrelevant or confusing finally start to make sense.

Interpret It
It's one thing to know what the Bible says. It's another to understand what it means. Sincere people have used scripture to justify things scripture never taught, and the gap almost always starts at interpretation. Apply It
The Bible was written in a different time, culture, and context than the one you're living in. The specific circumstances are ancient, but the principles underneath them are eternal.
